Explore the pastures of an Organic Valley dairy farm and witness fields of blossoming Kincaid's lupine, an endangered plant in the state of Washington. 

Learn from Washington State botanists, scientists and farmers about the unexpected resurgence of this delicate, purple perennial and other rare plant species and butterflies thriving on this pasture-based dairy.
Get the real dirt on what makes organic farms thrive—healthy soil! Dig below the pasture to discover the benefits healthy soil has on the environment and grazing cows.
Enjoy a free, organic picnic-style lunch, compliments of the local farmers of Organic Valley and Boistfort Valley Farm.
Are you a cyclist? Arrive at 10 a.m. and join Olympia's Capital Bicycling Club for a 20-mile ride through the rolling countryside, along the south fork of the Chehalis River. Route maps provided.
The Lupine Pasture Walk is a one-of-a-kind outing for families, wildflower lovers and cyclists alike!
