Farm tour of PacaPride, near Granite Falls

Come join us for a farm tour of PacaPride, near Granite Falls! This fun tour
at a newly developed guest ranch features pasture rotation and cross fencing
to promote grass, covered compost bins, year-round gardening, and providing
amenities for guests. As a bonus, David Capocci, one of the owners, will
highlight how to create and sell alpaca products. The walkabout includes
viewing the rentable event-yurt that will be a great asset to the area for
all kinds of events!

Saturday, July 17, 2010, 10 AM - Noon
This farm tour in the Monroe area will show how to fence animals out of a
stream and provide a water source for them. Also, how to naturescape the
streamside area to attract wildlife and birds. Just starting out with a new
property? Find out about resources that will help you before you make
potentially costly mistakes.

Saturday, July 24, 2010, 9 AM - Noon
The Lowell Heights Community Club will be the location for an intensive 3
hours on raising grass-fed beef, controlling weeds, growing healthy grass
and other best management practices to improve your farm. Don't miss this
class if you're thinking about running some cattle to meet the increasing
demand for grass-fed beef.

ALL classes are free. Register for tours and classes by emailing
