Save the date for the 2010 Northwest Permaculture Convergence, Sept 17-19!  This year we are forging an exciting new pathway in an urban setting by converging at South Seattle Community College.  Camping and home stays will be available.  With an 87 acre campus and cabins at nearby Camp Long, this will be an experience of an oasis in the city.  Not only are the SSCC gardens and meadows waiting for us, you will find warm and fuzzy interior spaces as well.

On September 18th, Cascadian Edible Landscapes & Creatives 4 Community is hosting their first Sliding-Scale Plant Sale to help get your winter gardens off to a great start! We will be starting at 10AM at Gatzert Elementary School located at 14th and Yesler Way.

Sammamish Valley – Fall classes in the 21 Acres Growing, Eating, Living education series were recently announced. Topics include Bring your Food to Market; Harvest and Can; Bees in the Field: Harvesting Honey and Harvest Pizzas. Classes are held at 21 Acres, 13701 171st Street just south of Woodinville of the Sammamish Valley Grange, 14654 148th Avenue Northeast, Woodinville.
