Permaculture Design Course
Permaculture Design Course, taught by Michael Pilarski and Laura Sweaney, on the Kitsap Peninsula.
Permaculture is a set of design systems that encompasses many elements including low-impact food growing, natural building, water systems, waste systems, energy systems and community-building. The word "Permaculture" was coined in the 1970's by two Australians and has since grown to become a global grassroots movement. Many people are studying and becoming trained in Permaculture so as to live and work in a more sustainable way and to learn to deal with the food security issues that we may face us in coming years.
Scholarships available for hunger/food activists.
